Fairchild Equipment is pleased to announce that it is hosting its second donation drive on behalf of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. Fairchild Equipment invites its customers and businesses in the communities in Dodge, Fond Du Lac, Milwaukee, Kenohsa, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Sheboygan, Walwroth, Washington and Waukesha counties of Wisconsin to participate. The donation drive will take place from January 22, 2018 through February 2, 2018. Businesses interested in participating are invited to host a donation bin at their facility and Fairchild Equipment will do all the work to make sure you receive the necessary tools and resources.
Fairchild Equipment representatives will be hitting the road the week before to deliver bins for the collection of donations to participating businesses and will pick them up the week following the conclusion of the event. If you are a customer that will be stopping in to our Menomonee Falls, WI branch, we will have donation bins set up in our lobby.
With the holidays upon us, this is a great opportunity to take out the old and make room for the new; all while making an impact in the community. You and your business can impact the lives of others who might not otherwise have the resources for jobs and opportunities simply by donating clothing and household goods. When businesses participate, we are able to make the donation process convenient and easy for employees and personnel.
Goodwill believes in the Power of Work, and their mission is to providing training and jobs for people with disabilities and disadvantages. We at Fairchild believe in Goodwill and are happy not only to host this donation drive on their behalf, but also share with you some of the other important work that Goodwill is doing. Many people know about Goodwill because of their Goodwill Store & Donation Centers, but not everyone knows that they also operate a number of social enterprises which employ people and provide real training and work opportunities.
When someone buys donated items in Goodwill retail stores, the money is used to fund training, employment and supportive services to people with disabilities and disadvantages. Especially during the winter months, we can help the mission of Goodwill and make a true difference in our communities.
